About Us

Open field agriculture presents several unique challenges to producers. The most significant challenge is related to the unpredictability of weather conditions. Although modern weather forecasting technologies can provide some degree of anticipatory guidance, producers must still plan for and manage unexpected weather events, such as excessive rainfall or drought, which can have a significant impact on crop yields.

Another challenge faced by open field farmers is pest and disease management. Insects, weeds, and various diseases can quickly spread and cause significant damage to crops. In addition, the presence of pests and diseases can negatively impact the quality of the produce, leading to reduced profits for the farmer.

The lack of access to modern technologies is also a challenge for open field farmers. Traditional methods of cultivation, such as manual tillage and seed sowing, are labour-intensive and inefficient. Without access to modern equipment, it is also difficult to optimize crop yields and quality.

Finally, open field farmers must also contend with rising input costs, which can make it difficult to remain competitive. The cost of seeds, fertilizers, and other inputs necessary for successful crop production can quickly add up, making it difficult for small-scale farmers to remain profitable.

As dim as it all sounds, we believe this could be solved (or rather must be solved). And so our journey began on this path!
